Profiling and behavioral advertising

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produce legal effects concerning you or significantly affect you in a similar way.
We use tools that may perform certain actions depending on data collected through tracking mechanisms, but we consider such actions to have no significant impact on you — they do not differentiate customers or affect contract terms.

By using certain tools, we may, for example, display personalized ads based on your previous activity on our website or suggest products that may interest you. This is known as behavioral advertising.
We encourage you to learn more about behavioral advertising and related privacy matters. Detailed information and settings management options can be found here: http://www.youronlinechoices.com.

We emphasize that the tools we use do not give us access to any data that could identify you. The information we refer to includes, in particular:

  • details about your operating system and browser,
  • pages you viewed,
  • time spent on the site,
  • transitions between subpages,
  • the source that led you to our website,
  • your approximate age range,
  • your gender,
  • your approximate location (limited to the city),
  • your interests as determined by online activity.

We do not combine the above information with your personal data stored in our systems.
Such information is anonymous and cannot identify you.
It is stored on the servers of the providers of respective tools, which may be located anywhere in the world.

Cookies and other tracking technologies

Our website, like almost all other websites, uses cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on your end device (e.g., computer, tablet, smartphone) that can be read by our IT system (first-party cookies) or by the IT systems of third parties (third-party cookies). Some of the cookies we use are deleted after you end your browser session (i.e., when you close it) — so-called session cookies. Other cookies are stored on your device and allow us to recognize your browser the next time you visit (persistent cookies). If you want to learn more about cookies in general, you can read for example: https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_cookie. Below you will find detailed information about the cookies used on our website.

Cookie consent

During your first visit to the website, you are shown information about the use of cookies along with a request to consent to their use. With a dedicated tool, you can manage cookies directly on the website by enabling or disabling individual cookies. In addition, you can always change your cookie settings in your browser or delete cookies altogether. Browsers manage cookie settings in different ways. In your browser’s help menu you will find explanations on how to change cookie settings. You can also manage cookies by installing dedicated browser add-ons that provide control over cookies, such as Ghostery (https://www.ghostery.com). Please note that disabling or limiting cookies may cause difficulties when using our website, as well as many other websites that use cookies.

First-party cookies

We use first-party cookies to ensure the proper functioning of the website. First-party cookies also store information about your consent to the use of cookies and about cookie settings you defined within our website. First-party cookies are also used by the script responsible for the abandoned cart recovery mechanism. This means that cookies may contain information about the contents of your cart, recently viewed products, etc.

Third-party cookies

Our website, like most modern websites, uses functionalities provided by third parties, which involves using third-party cookies. The use of such cookies is described below.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. We do so based on our legitimate interest in creating statistics and analyzing them to optimize our websites. Google Analytics automatically collects information on how you use our site. The information collected this way is usually transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there. With IP anonymization enabled on our site, your IP address is shortened before being forwarded. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the United States and shortened there. The anonymized IP address transmitted by your browser within Google Analytics is generally not combined with other Google data. We emphasize that, within Google Analytics, we do not collect any data that would allow us to identify you. Therefore, the data collected within Google Analytics does not constitute personal data. The information we can access in Google Analytics includes, in particular:

  • details about your operating system and browser,
  • the subpages you view on our website,
  • the time spent on our website and its subpages,
  • transitions between specific subpages,
  • the source from which you arrive at our website.

We also use the following Advertising Features within Google Analytics:

  • demographics and interests reports,
  • remarketing,
  • advertising reporting features, user-ID.

Within the Advertising Features we likewise do not collect personal data. The information we can access includes, in particular:

  • your age range,
  • your gender,
  • your approximate location limited to the city,
  • your interests as determined by online activity.

To use Google Analytics, we implemented a dedicated Google Analytics tracking code on our website. The tracking code uses Google LLC cookies for the Google Analytics service. From our website’s cookie-management tool, you can disable the Google Analytics tracking code. You can also block Google Analytics tracking at any time by installing the browser add-on provided by Google: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The Google Analytics and Google Analytics 360 services have obtained the ISO 27001 information security certification. If you are interested in details related to data processing within Google Analytics, please refer to Google’s explanations: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245.

Google Ads

We use the Google Ads advertising program operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA to run advertising campaigns, including remarketing. We do so based on our legitimate interest in marketing our own products or services. When you visit our website, a Google remarketing cookie is automatically stored on your device which, using a pseudonymous identifier (ID) and based on the pages you visit, enables interest-based advertising to be displayed. Further processing takes place only if you have consented to Google linking your browsing history and app usage with your account and to using information from your Google account to personalize ads displayed on websites. If, in such a case, you are logged in to Google during your visit to our website, Google will use your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define audience lists for cross-device remarketing. To this end, Google temporarily combines the information collected with Google Analytics data to build target groups. We stress that, when using Google Ads, we do not collect any data that would allow us to identify you. Any combination of data that might constitute personal data may be performed by Google, but we are not responsible for this, as Google performs such actions under its contract with you as a Google user. By using Google Ads, we are only able to define the audiences we would like our ads to reach. Based on this, Google decides when and how to show you our advertising. To use Google Ads, we implemented a special Google Ads conversion pixel on our website. The pixel uses Google LLC cookies for the Google Ads service. From our website’s cookie-management tool, you can disable these cookies. You can manage your ad settings directly in Google: https://adssettings.google.com/. If you are interested in details related to data processing within Google Ads, please refer to Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Facebook Ads and Insights

We use marketing and analytics tools available within Facebook. The provider is Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. We do so based on our legitimate interest in marketing our own products or services and for analytics and statistics. To deliver personalized ads based on your behavior on our website, we implemented the Facebook Pixel on our website, which automatically collects information about your use of our site in terms of the pages viewed. The information collected this way is usually transmitted to Facebook servers in the United States and stored there. Information collected through the Facebook Pixel is anonymous to us, meaning it does not allow us to identify you. We only know what actions you took on our website. We can also see your age range, gender, and where you connect from. Facebook Insights may provide us with more information about you, but never information that allows us to identify you. Please note, however, that Facebook may combine the information it collects with other information about you gathered through your use of Facebook and may use it for its own purposes, including marketing. Such Facebook activities are beyond our control; you can find information about them directly in Facebook’s privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation. You can also manage your privacy settings in your Facebook account. Useful information can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/help/568137493302217. From our website’s cookie-management tool, you can disable the Facebook Pixel.

Content from external services

We embed content from external services, in particular videos from YouTube. As a result, cookies from Google LLC related to YouTube, including DoubleClick cookies, are used. When you play a video or view other embedded content, Google is informed of this, even if you do not have a profile with the provider or are not logged in. This information (together with your IP address) is sent by your browser directly to the provider’s server (some servers are located in the USA) and stored there. If you are logged in to the provider’s service, the provider can directly attribute the visit on our site to your profile in the relevant social network. The purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by providers, as well as your rights and settings options to protect your privacy, are described in the privacy policies of the respective providers. If you do not want providers to attribute data collected while playing a video or viewing other content on our website directly to your profile, you must log out of the relevant service before visiting our site. You can also completely prevent plugins from loading by using appropriate extensions for your browser, e.g., script-blocking. Cookies related to YouTube are only loaded when a video is played, so if you do not want this to happen, refrain from playing the video.

Social tools

Our website uses plugins and other social tools provided by social networks such as Facebook. When you view our website containing such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of the social network providers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by the provider directly to your browser and integrated with the website. By means of this integration, providers receive information that your browser has displayed our website, even if you do not have a profile with the provider or are not logged in at the time. This information (together with your IP address) is sent by your browser directly to the provider’s server (some servers are located in the USA) and stored there. If you are logged in to one of the social networks, the provider can directly attribute the visit on our site to your profile in that social network. If you use a plugin, e.g., by clicking the “Like” or “Share” button, the relevant information is also sent directly to the provider’s server and stored there. In addition, this information may be published in the social network and shown to your contacts. The purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by providers, as well as your rights and settings options to protect your privacy, are described in the privacy policies of the respective providers.

If you do not want social networks to attribute data collected during your visit to our website directly to your profile, you must log out of the relevant service before visiting our site. You can also completely prevent the plugins from loading by using appropriate browser extensions, e.g., script-blocking.

We also participate in the Google AdSense program, which means that ads served under this program may be displayed on our pages. We do not decide on the content of these ads. Ads are matched on the basis of the algorithm used by Google AdSense. You can manage your ad settings directly in Google: https://adssettings.google.com/. Participation in Google AdSense involves implementing on the website a monitoring code that uses cookies from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, including DoubleClick cookies.

Server logs

Using the website involves sending requests to the server on which the website is hosted. Each request to the server is recorded in the server logs. The logs include, among other things, your IP address, the server date and time, and information about the browser and operating system you use. The logs are saved and stored on the server. The data stored in the server logs is not associated with specific individuals using the site and is not used by us to identify you. The server logs are solely auxiliary material used to administer the website, and their content is not disclosed to anyone other than those authorized to administer the server.
